Gregg Doyel: I am sick of apologizing for being a guy

I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry anymore. I’m sick of apologizing for being a guy. I’m sick of being told that I’m inherently evil, that I’m a rapist and a murderer in waiting, that I’m the root of all the world’s problems. I’m just a guy, and I’m tired of being treated like a monster.

I’m not saying that all men are good, and I’m not saying that men are better than women. I’m just saying that men are not inherently evil. We’re not all rapists and murderers. We’re just people, and we’re all different. We’re all individuals, and we should be treated as such.

I’m tired of being told that I need to be a feminist in order to be a good person. I’m tired of being told that I need to hate myself in order to love women. I don’t hate myself, and I don’t hate women. I love women. I respect women. I want women to be treated as equals.

I’m not a feminist, but I’m not a misogynist either. I’m just a guy who wants to be treated with respect. I want to be treated like an individual, not like a member of some monolithic group that is inherently evil. I want to be treated like a human being, not like a monster.

I’m sick of being told that I’m the problem. I’m sick of being told that I’m the root of all the world’s problems. I’m just a guy, and I’m not the problem. The problem is the people who divide us, the people who tell us that we’re all different and that we can’t get along. The problem is the people who tell us that we’re all bad and that we can’t change.

I’m not the problem. You’re not the problem. We’re all in this together, and we need to start working together. We need to start treating each other with respect, and we need to start listening to each other. We need to start working together to solve the problems that we face, and we need to start working together to create a better world for everyone.
