Pietro Marcello's 'Red' To Open Cannes' Directors Fortnight 안전놀이터
Pietro Marcello's French-language period show "Red" is set to open the 54th version of Cannes' Directors Fortnight on May 18.

Winding around melodic and dream components, the film is set in Northern Normandy, between the two universal conflicts, a period of incredible innovations, and follows the excursion of a young lady who was raised by her dad, a bereaved conflict veteran, and endeavors to track down her own way throughout everyday life.

Marcello, a widely praised Italian movie producer whose credits incorporate the Venice prize-winning "Martin Eden," wrote the content with his ordinary screenwriting accomplice Maurizio Braucci ("Gomorra"), as well as Maud Ameline ("Amanda"), with the interest of the author Geneviève Brisac.

"Red" is created by Charles Gillibert at CG Cinema ("Mustang," "Annette") with Avventurosa and Rai Cinema in Italy, as a team with Ilya Stewart (Hype Film) and Antonio Miyakawa (Wise Pictures). Orange Studio is taking care of worldwide deals while Le Pacte will disperse it in France.

The film is featured by Juliette Jouan, Raphaël Thierry ("Staying Vertical"), Louis Garrel ("DNA"), Noémie Lvovsky ("Camille Rewinds"), among others.

The full setup of Directors Fortnight will be uncovered on April 19. This year will stamp Paolo Moretti's third and last version as imaginative head of the program.
