Apart from San Fran & Meow, Here's My 2 Cents On Some Other Venues Around Town

Bodega: Apart from San Fran, this is the other venue in town most likely to host international acts. 

Laundry: I dig this place. If I was you, this would be my second choice after San Fran.

Moon: Just out of the CBD in Newtown (Think Mount Lawley proximity to Perth CBD). Cool joint run by a dude who runs a cool record store.

Rogue and Vagabond: Prone to waistcoats and fiddles but I've also seen an ensemble with 10 or 12 synths on stage.

Valhalla: It's kind of a metal venue but I've seen other stuff there too.

Fast Eddies Pool Hall: To be honest, I haven't quite worked this place out yet. It's a pool hall/radio station/vodka perveying venue. They do house, electro, dub, drum n bass nights etc.

Bats Theatre: Well, it's a theatre but it's a cool one.

Old Hall Gigs: Remember when bowling club gigs were a thing? This is gigs in old halls around town. 

Eyegum: These guys do house party gigs.

In Good Company: This is a co-working space and gallery by day but they're open to anything by night. It's basically a white rectangle you can do whatever you like with. You'd need to hire a P.A. though.
