Shane Doan




Shane Doan is a Canadian professional hockey player who plays for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has played over 1,500 NHL games and is one of the most respected players in the league.
Doan was born in Halkirk, Alberta, Canada, on October 10, 1976. He started playing hockey at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the first round (seventh overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. However, due to a labor dispute, Doan spent part of his first professional season in the Western Hockey League (WHL).
Doan made his NHL debut with the Jets during the 1995-96 season. Although Doan played well with the Jets, he was never really a top player on the team. In 2001, Doan was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes. He has been with the Coyotes ever since, and he has become a key player on the team.
