The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place last night, honoring the best performances in film and television from the past year. With a star-studded cast of nominees and a few unexpected surprises, the show was one for the books.

The SurprisesIn a surprising upset, Austin Butler took home the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in Elvis. The young actor beat out heavyweights like Brendan Fraser and Colin Farrell.
Another unexpected win went to Zendaya, who won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series - Drama award for her role in Euphoria. This was Zendaya's first SAG Award win, and it solidified her status as one of Hollywood's rising stars.
