Prajwal Revanna




Prajwal Revanna is an Indian politician who currently serves as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Hassan in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He is the son of former Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Revanna and grandson of former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda. Prajwal Revanna is a member of the Janata Dal (Secular) party. He was first elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in the 2018 state elections. Prajwal Revanna is a young and dynamic leader who is committed to working for the people of Hassan.

Prajwal Revanna was born in Hassan, Karnataka on 10th January 1989. He completed his schooling from Baldwin Boys High School, Bengaluru and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Joseph's College, Bengaluru. Prajwal Revanna is married to Bhavana Revanna and they have two children.

Prajwal Revanna entered politics in 2018 when he contested the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections from Hassan constituency. He defeated the incumbent MLA, A. Manju of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), by a margin of over 35,000 votes. Prajwal Revanna is a member of the Committee on Agriculture and also serves as the Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.
