Paul Howard

I'm sure you've heard of Paul Howard. He's the guy who invented the first commercially successful electronic synthesizer, the Moog synthesizer. He's also the guy who founded Moog Music, the company that still makes synthesizers today.

After graduating from MIT, Howard worked as a physicist at the RCA Laboratories in Princeton, New Jersey. He also worked as a consultant for the Moog Company, which was founded by Robert Moog.

In 1964, Howard left RCA to join Moog Music full-time. He was responsible for the design of the Moog synthesizer, which was released in 1965.

The Moog synthesizer was a revolutionary instrument. It was the first synthesizer that was commercially successful, and it quickly became a popular choice for musicians of all genres.

Howard continued to work at Moog Music until 1972. He then left the company to pursue other interests.
