Karate Black Belt Student Fights Back, Chases Off 'Shout' Sex Attacker

An understudy with a dark belt in karate has recounted how she warded off a presume who assaulted her on the grounds of a California college. 

The 18-year-old green bean was perched on an outdoor table external her apartment at Chapman University in Orange when the assault happened in the early hours on Friday. 

She was FaceTiming her beau when a suspect in a skeleton veil smacked her right upside the head outside Henley Hall, she told Fox 11. "I hit the garbage bin behind me," she said.

The suspect "actually and physically attacked an understudy close to her residence in the space of Walnut and Grand" at around 12.40 a.M. On Friday, police said in a news discharge shared on Facebook. 

"At the hour of the attack, the suspect was portrayed as wearing dark apparel and a skeleton style veil or gator," police said. "Observation video shows the suspect after he eliminated his face covering and pullover." 

The understudy said the suspect wore a cover during the assault that helped her to remember the ones found in the Scream films.
