Early Life
Marlon Wayans was born on July 23, 1972, in New York City. He is the son of Elvira, a social worker, and Howell Wayans, a supermarket manager. Wayans has nine siblings, including fellow actors Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans.
Career
Wayans began his career in comedy in the early 1990s. He appeared on the television show In Living Color, which was created by his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans. Wayans also starred in the films Mo' Money (1992) and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996).
In 2000, Wayans starred in the horror-comedy film Scary Movie. The film was a huge success, and Wayans reprised his role in the film's four sequels. Wayans has also starred in the films White Chicks (2004), A Haunted House (2013), and Fifty Shades of Black (2016).
