Marcel Desailly Deacon had always been a very serious man. He was the kind of person who always followed the rules and never did anything out of the ordinary. But one day, all of that changed. It all started when Marcel Desailly Deacon decided to buy a bird bath for his backyard.
Marcel Desailly Deacon was very excited about his new bird bath. He placed it in the middle of his backyard and waited for the birds to come. He sat and watched as the birds flew around the backyard, but none of them seemed to be interested in his bird bath.
Marcel Desailly Deacon was growing impatient. He wanted to see the birds enjoying his bird bath, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He turned on the hose and started to fill the bird bath with water. He filled it higher and higher, until the water started to overflow.
Just as the bird bath was about to overflow, a large pigeon flew down and landed on the edge. Marcel Desailly Deacon was so excited to see the pigeon that he forgot all about the overflowing water. He ran over to the bird bath and started to pet the pigeon.
But then, something terrible happened. The pigeon suddenly started to flap its wings and fly away. As it flew away, it knocked over the bird bath and spilled all of the water on Marcel Desailly Deacon.
Marcel Desailly Deacon was soaked to the bone. He was so angry that he started to cry. He ran inside the house and slammed the door behind him.
After that day, Marcel Desailly Deacon never looked at a bird bath the same way again. Every time he saw one, he would remember the day that the pigeon knocked over his bird bath and spilled all of the water on him.
And so, Marcel Desailly Deacon became a very serious man who never did anything out of the ordinary. He never bought another bird bath, and he never went near one again.
