Lany Scherr: The Man Who Couldn't Stop Lying

By Lany Scherr

I'm Lany Scherr, and I'm a compulsive liar.

It's not something I'm proud of, but it's the truth. I've been lying since I was a kid, and I've never been able to stop.

I lie about everything, from the little things to the big things. I lie about my age, my job, my relationships, my accomplishments.

I know it's wrong, but I can't help myself. I get a thrill out of it. I like the feeling of being able to fool people.

But it's also a curse. I've lost friends and loved ones because of my lies. I've been fired from jobs. I've even been arrested.

I've tried to stop lying, but I can't. It's like an addiction. I'm powerless against it.

So here I am, Lany Scherr, the compulsive liar. I'm not proud of it, but it's who I am.

The Time I Lied About Being a Doctor

One of my most embarrassing lies was when I told everyone I was a doctor.

I had always wanted to be a doctor, but I never had the grades to get into medical school. So I just decided to fake it.

I bought a white coat and a stethoscope, and I started telling everyone I was a doctor.

At first, it was fun. People treated me with respect. They asked me for medical advice. I even got invited to a few parties.

But then I started to feel guilty. I knew I was a fraud, and I was afraid that someone would eventually find out.

One day, I was at a party and someone asked me for medical advice. I panicked and told them I was just a medical student.

The person laughed and said, "That's okay. I'm just a medical student too."

I was so relieved. I had finally found someone who I could be honest with.

The Time I Lied About Being a Millionaire

Another one of my most ridiculous lies was when I told everyone I was a millionaire.

I had always dreamed of being rich, but I never had the money to get there.

So I just decided to fake it.

I bought a Rolex watch and a BMW, and I started telling everyone I was a millionaire.

At first, it was fun. People treated me like I was special. They invited me to exclusive parties and events.

But then I started to feel guilty. I knew I was a fraud, and I was afraid that someone would eventually find out.

One day, I was at a party and someone asked me how I made my money.

I panicked and told them I was a successful businessman.

The person laughed and said, "That's okay. I'm just a successful businessman too."

I was so relieved. I had finally found someone who I could be honest with.

The Time I Lied About Being a Secret Agent

The most outrageous lie I ever told was when I told everyone I was a secret agent.

I had always been fascinated by spies, and I thought it would be cool to be one.

So I just decided to fake it.

I bought a tuxedo and a briefcase, and I started telling everyone I was a secret agent.

At first, it was fun. People were impressed by me. They asked me about my missions.

But then I started to feel guilty. I knew I was a fraud, and I was afraid that someone would eventually find out.

One day, I was at a party and someone asked me what my mission was.

I panicked and told them I was on a secret mission to save the world.

The person laughed and said, "That's okay. I'm on a secret mission to save the world too."

I was so relieved. I had finally found someone who I could be honest with.

I'm still a compulsive liar, but I'm trying to get better.

I've started seeing a therapist, and I'm learning how to deal with my addiction.

I know it's going to be a long road, but I'm determined to change.

I want to be able to live my life without lying. I want to be able to be honest with myself and with others.

I know it's going to be difficult, but I'm not going to give up.

I'm Lany Scherr, and I'm a compulsive liar. But I'm also a human being. And I deserve to be happy.
