Kurtisha Stefens was a little girl who lived in a big house with her parents and her little brother, Tommy. She loved to play outside with her friends, but her favorite thing to do was to read stories. She would often spend hours in her room, lost in a world of adventure and imagination.
One night, Kurtisha was in bed asleep when she heard a noise coming from downstairs. She got out of bed and crept down the stairs, her heart pounding in her chest. She could hear the sound of footsteps coming from the kitchen. She slowly opened the door and peeked inside.
There, in the middle of the kitchen, was a strange creature. It was tall and thin, with long, sharp claws and glowing red eyes. Kurtisha had never seen anything like it before. The creature turned and looked at Kurtisha, and she gasped in fear.
"Who are you?" she asked.
The creature didn't answer. It just stared at Kurtisha with its glowing red eyes.
"What do you want?" Kurtisha asked again.
The creature still didn't answer. It just kept staring at Kurtisha.Kurtisha was about to turn and run when the creature suddenly lunged at her. Kurtisha screamed and ducked out of the way. The creature crashed into the wall, and Kurtisha ran for her life.
She ran upstairs to her bedroom and locked the door. She was so scared that she was shaking. She didn't know what the creature was, or what it wanted, but she knew that she had to get away from it.
Kurtisha looked around her room for something to help her. She saw a baseball bat leaning against her bed, and she grabbed it. She held it in front of her like a sword, and she waited for the creature to come.
But the creature never came. Kurtisha waited for hours, but she never heard a sound. Finally, she fell asleep with the baseball bat still in her hand.
The next morning, Kurtisha woke up and opened the door. She looked around, but the creature was gone. She didn't know if it had left or if it was still hiding somewhere in the house. She was too scared to go downstairs and check.
Kurtisha went to her parents' room and told them what had happened. They didn't believe her at first, but when they saw the look of fear on her face, they knew that she was telling the truth.
Kurtisha's parents called the police, but the police couldn't find any trace of the creature. Kurtisha never saw the creature again, but she never forgot what it looked like. She always kept a baseball bat by her bed, just in case.
Kurtisha was a brave little girl. She faced her fears and protected herself from the creature. She is a hero to all who know her.
The end.
