PL anonymous club, '10 goals in 16 games' divine inquiry

Several Premier League (PL) teams are reportedly targeting Victor Boniface.

Florian Platenberg, a journalist for Sky Sports in Germany, wrote on his social media account on June 26 (KST), "Boniface is a player of great interest in England. In particular, an unnamed PL club has made specific enquiries to Leverkusen about the player."

Platenberg continued: "But Leverkusen want to keep Boniface, he is not for sale. We need to offer more than €55 million to at least start negotiations. Boniface, who underwent surgery for an adductor muscle injury in January, has recently returned to training and is targeting a return to action."

Boniface is a 23-year-old Nigerian striker. He began his professional career with Norwegian side Vørge Glimt before moving to Belgian side Winnion Saint-Gilles for the 2022-23 season. He quickly established himself in the first team, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists in 37 appearances in the Belgian league. He also scored six goals in 10 UEFA Europa 토토사이트 League (UEL) matches.

He was spotted by Leverkusen's layered network as he showed promise on the European stage. Boniface arrived in a Leverkusen shirt ahead of the season, and was quickly thrust into the starting lineup by head coach Xabi Alonso. With 10 goals and seven assists in 16 Bundesliga games, he was quickly recognized as one of the league's best strikers.

Then something happened. Boniface hasn't played a single game this year due to injury. He underwent surgery and is out of action. However, he has recently returned to the training ground and is gradually increasing his chances of returning to action.

Despite not playing for the last three months, Boniface has made an impact in the first half of the season, and PL clubs are increasingly interested in him. Boniface is contracted to Leverkusen until the summer of 2028. With so much time left on his contract, it would take a huge transfer fee to convince Leverkusen to let him go.
