Julia Barretto




Julia Barretto is a Filipino actress, singer, and model. She is the daughter of actors Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto and the niece of actress Gretchen Barretto.
Barretto began her career as a child actress, appearing in the teleseryes Kokey (2007) and Palos (2008). She made her film debut in the 2010 romantic comedy Love Me, Love You. In 2013, she starred in the remake of the classic Filipino film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Her performance in the film earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival.
In 2014, Barretto starred in the romantic comedy She's Dating the Gangster opposite Daniel Padilla. The film was a box office success, grossing over ₱200 million. In 2016, she starred in the romantic comedy Vince & Kath & James opposite Joshua Garcia and Ronnie Alonte. The film was also a box office success, grossing over ₱100 million.
In 2017, Barretto starred in the romantic comedy Love You to the Stars and Back opposite Gerald Anderson. The film was a box office success, grossing over ₱150 million. In 2018, she starred in the romantic comedy I'm Drunk, I Love You opposite Paulo Avelino. The film was a box office success, grossing over ₱100 million.
Barretto is one of the most popular actresses in the Philippines today. She has won numerous awards, including the FAMAS Award for Best Actress and the Golden Screen Award for Best Actress. She is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
Barretto is known for her beauty, talent, and kind heart. She is an inspiration to many young Filipinos.
