Hashley Wuertz and the Magical Unicorn
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Hashley Wuertz who loved unicorns. She would spend hours reading books about them, drawing pictures of them, and even pretending to be one. One night, Hashley was playing in her backyard when she saw a bright light in the sky. She looked up and saw a beautiful white unicorn flying towards her.
The unicorn landed in front of Hashley and bowed its head. "Hello," the unicorn said. "My name is Dreamdancer, and I have come to take you on a magical journey." Hashley was so excited that she could barely speak. She climbed onto Dreamdancer's back and they flew off into the night sky.
They flew over rivers and mountains, forests and fields. Hashley had never seen anything so beautiful. Dreamdancer told her stories about the stars and the moon, and about all the different creatures that lived in the magical land.
Finally, they reached a beautiful castle made of gold and silver. The unicorn landed in front of the castle and Hashley got off. "This is my home," Dreamdancer said. "You are welcome to stay here as long as you like." Hashley was so happy that she could stay with the unicorn. She spent the next few days exploring the castle and meeting all the different creatures that lived there.
One day, Hashley was playing in the castle garden when she saw a group of children playing. They were all dressed in rags and looked very poor. Hashley asked them why they were so sad.
"We are orphans," the children said. "We have no home and no family." Hashley felt sorry for the children. She went back to Dreamdancer and asked if she could take the orphans home with her.
Dreamdancer agreed, and Hashley flew the children back to her own home. She gave them food and clothes and a place to sleep. The children were so grateful to Hashley for taking them in.
Hashley and the orphans became best friends. They played together every day and had lots of fun. One day, Hashley was playing with the orphans when she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door and saw a group of men standing there.
"We are here to take the orphans back," the men said. "They belong to us." Hashley was shocked. "No, they don't," she said. "They belong to me." The men laughed. "You can't keep them," they said. "They are our property."
Hashley knew that the men were right. The orphans were legally their property. But she didn't want to give them up. She loved them too much.
"I won't let you take them," Hashley said. "I'll fight you for them." The men laughed again. "You're just a little girl," they said. "You can't fight us."
But Hashley was determined to protect her friends. She ran to her room and got her magic wand. She pointed it at the men and said, "I wish you would turn into frogs."
The men laughed even louder. "That's impossible," they said. But then, something strange happened. The men started to turn green and slimy. Their clothes fell off and they began to hop around on the floor.
Hashley had turned the men into frogs! The orphans were so happy. They cheered and clapped their hands. Hashley had saved them.
The orphans lived happily ever after with Hashley. They never forgot the day that she had turned the men into frogs. And Hashley never forgot the magical unicorn that had brought her home.
