District Attorney Sandra Doorley

Hello, I'm Sandra Doorley. I'm running for District Attorney because I believe that we can - and we must - do more for our community.
I've been a prosecutor for over 20 years, and I've seen firsthand the toll that crime takes on our families, our businesses, and our city as a whole. I've also seen how our criminal justice system can fail to deliver justice for victims and their families.
That's why I'm running for District Attorney. I want to make our community safer and more just for everyone.
I have a plan to do that.
First, I will focus on preventing crime. I will work with our community partners to address the root causes of crime, such as poverty, lack of opportunity, and mental illness. I will also support programs that help to keep our youth out of trouble and on the right track.
Second, I will be tough on crime. I will prosecute criminals to the fullest extent of the law, and I will not tolerate repeat offenders. I will also work to ensure that victims and their families are treated with respect and compassion.
Third, I will reform our criminal justice system. I will work to eliminate racial disparities in our system, and I will support policies that are fair and just. I will also work to ensure that our jails and prisons are safe and humane.
I know that we can make our community safer and more just. I have the experience, the plan, and the commitment to get the job done.
