Desmond Ridder is an American football quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Cincinnati, where he was a three-year starter and led the Bearcats to an undefeated regular season in 2021. Ridder was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Ridder was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and attended St. Xavier High School, where he played football and basketball. He was rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports and committed to play college football at the University of Cincinnati.
