Clear California airports

Tired of long airport security lines? This new program has the solution!

California airports are notorious for their long security lines. But a new program is aiming to change that. Clear is a biometric identification service that allows travelers to skip the regular security line and go through a dedicated lane. To use Clear, travelers must first sign up for the service and provide their fingerprints and iris scans. Once they are enrolled, they can use the Clear lane at any participating airport.

Clear is currently available at six California airports: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), San Diego International Airport (SAN), John Wayne Airport (SNA), Oakland International Airport (OAK), and Sacramento International Airport (SMF). The service costs $179 per year, but there is a free trial available.

I recently had the opportunity to try Clear at SFO. I was very impressed with the service. I was able to skip the regular security line and go through the Clear lane in just a few minutes. The Clear lane was much shorter than the regular line, and I didn't have to remove my shoes or jacket.

I highly recommend Clear to anyone who travels frequently through California airports. It is a great way to save time and hassle.
