A Body Has Been Identified After 11 Days of Not Knowing

On Sunday, November 17th, a body was recovered from the water at Claddagh Quay, but it had not been identified untill yesterday. The man has been identified by Gardaí, but his body has not yet been released to his family.

The man had blue eyes and a full head of red/gray hair, and was 5'7" tall, with a medium build of 78-80kg. He was discovered with a burgundy v-neck sweater, blue jeans, and boots.

An appeal was issued to the public to help identify the man, and Gardaí are still investigating the cause of death.
