North Baseball Coach Leaving For Roncalli

Pat Antone, who directed the Bull Dogs this spring, is venturing down after one season. Antone has taken the head instructing position at Roncalli.

Antone, who recently had driven Boone Grove to a Class 2A state title, said in an instant message Thursday night that he acknowledged the Roncalli position on Wednesday night. He turned in his acquiescence at North on Thursday.

Darin Hendrickson, Saint Louis (781 successes): Hendrickson has driven Saint Louis for 15 seasons, taking the Billikens to the NCAA Tournament multiple times. Before his time at SLU, he drove Central Missouri for four seasons, two times taking the Mules to the Division II College World Series.

 Charge Currier, Fairfield (780 successes): Currier has driven Fairfield for the last 11 seasons, a run that has been the most incredible in program history. The Stags have two times made the NCAA Tournament and won the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title. Preceding his time at Fairfield, he instructed Vermont, his place of graduation, from 1988 to 2009, when the program was wiped out.
