Large numbers of these AAU partners were little children the last time the Celtics progressed to the NBA Finals. Presently, they're valid fans - and have their own enthusiasm for the game as players themselves.

These players draw motivation from what they share in a similar manner as this Celtics group.

"We have a ton of gatekeepers in our group. They aren't excessively huge and we're not. We must be a guarded group and play together," said 16-year-old Alex Wilkins.

Youthful fans watch the aces with amazement, we as a whole do. Yet, little do these youngsters know, for their most ardent followers - the genuine wizardry happens here in neighborhood exercise centers.

"Being that I played and now that my girl is keen on the game, it offers me a chance to bond with her, as a matter of fact. It's so fulfilling. Seeing your child out there doing what you did and really appreciating it and needing to improve. It's been an extraordinary encounter for the two of us," said Andre McClendon gladly.
