Hong Kong Fencer Edgar Cheung Rises To World No. 1 Despite Losing In Foil World Cup Quarter-finals
Hong Kong Olympic gold medalist Edgar Cheung has ascended to world number 1 in the men's foil classification of the International Fencing Federation positioning interestingly.

This comes notwithstanding him losing to Italian fencer Giorgio Avola in the Foil World Cup quarter-finals on Sunday in Belgrade, Serbia. 사설토토

The 24-year-old, referred to expertly as Cheung Ka-long, took the best position after he beat past world number 1, Alessio Foconi of Italy, who went out in the first round.

In a video transferred by an Instagram client with the handle @gold4hk, Cheung - with his trademark indifferent appearance - said he was "exceptionally blissful" to be the world number 1.

A large number of his fans took to virtual entertainment to commend the accomplishment. The fencer additionally shared a portion of the tales on his Instagram page.
